The legal team representing Ruben Onsu has objected to a health test requirement that they say was introduced unilaterally as a condition for him to meet his children. According to detikHOT, the team argues the new stipulation was not agreed upon by both parties and appears designed to complicate the visitation process.
The dispute centers on the ongoing custody battle between Onsu and his estranged wife, Sarwendah. Reports from detikHOT indicate that Sarwendah has since publicly shared her own health test results, which came back non-reactive, in what appears to be a response to the controversy. Meanwhile, CNN Indonesia reports that Onsu remains firm in his pursuit of full custody of the children from Sarwendah.
The exchange has also drawn in accusations about financial matters. Kompas.com notes that Sarwendah's legal counsel has responded to claims that she benefited from monthly child support payments. Additionally, grid.id reports that Sarwendah's side has asked that the custody dispute not be tied to Onsu's financial troubles, with her lawyer pointing to a separate incident where an employee allegedly fled with 100 billion rupiah.
